UNIMO Exports Private Limited has its origins in the nearly century old Union Motors Group of companies, a pioneer in the automotive industry in India.

Founded by Sri K. Gopalakrishna, the group promoted Standard Motors - one of only three companies to make passenger cars in India’s pre-liberalization era.

The Union Motors Group also pioneered manufacturing high quality automotive components under various brand names including Armstrong, Solex and UCAL.

High quality automotive components manufactured by UCAL companies and other partners are exported to markets worldwide, including Europe, USA, Middle-east, Africa, Australia and South-east Asia, South America by UNIMO Exports.

The company also provides end-to-end engineering and manufacturing outsourcing solutions to companies around the world and executes engineering design services for its clients.
